Commercial: BAY NETWORKS Manufacturing

  • Bay Networks, Manufacturing & Distribution: 1993 - 1995
Size: Two Buildings, 76,000 s.f. & 72,000 s.f.
Location: Sunnyvale, California

This Bay Networks facility was developed for the manufacturing group to serve their expanding space needs. Manufacturing, office, training and cafeteria facilities are housed within an existing 76,000 square foot building. Due to the client's urgent need to begin production in this building, the manufacturing portion of the project was built as a fast-track design and construction project in 1993. The remaining portion of the building, which included office and training and cafeteria facilities, was completed in 1995.

As part of the manufacturing facilities expansion in Sunnyvale, this existing 70,000 square foot building was converted into a distribution function including warehousing, sorting and shipping areas. Minor office improvements were introduced at each end of the building. New functions include open office space, conference rooms, toilet core improvements and break ⁄ vending facilities.
